In cages digits sum to the number in the top left corner.
Digits that appear in one part of the grey area must appear in the exact same position in the other area.

Just to clarify the gray boxes; does exact same position mean that r1c1 is same as r6c6? Or is it mirrored (mirrored as in r1c1 is r9c9?

Thanks for the puzzle! I really and truly enjoyed the trick in the beginning between the two identified cages. Puzzle was something along the lines of 2.8/5 in difficulty for me, but I can see people struggling with the beginning if they're not too familiar with set theory.

Thank you @Enkerro! Yes that's the thing about set theory, it often seems obvious once you see it but it can still be really tricky to find!

Thank you Leto for your feedback, I did not notice that it needed a little set theory for the 27/19 and partly 15 cage and I also didn't realize before how the 27 cage and the 19 cage were connected via the clone cell and which effect it has.
But with your comments and my own remaining deductions I could finally solve it and I find it very beautiful, and as you said it did flow very smoothly then.
I agree with 3* now, and I can see how you rated it lower, because after the break in it really is quite easy.

Hmm maybe I'm missing something, but to me it's not even a 2*, more like 4*, I've added some sums, asked where 1 and 9 can go, even tried some geometric tricks I've remembered from CtC, or tried lettering, but neither led me to the break-in.
So for now I can't agree with 'quite approachable', but maybe there's something I'm missing.

Thanks for the input. I did not expect the break in to be that difficult. That's a shame. You are absolutely on the right track to ask where 1 and 9 though. I Guess it involves some basic set theory. To give you a hint look at the 19 and 27 cages and ask how they affect where one and nine goes in box 5. The rest should flow pretty smoothly!
