There are nine regions hidden in this puzzle, each consisting of 9 orthogonally connected cells. Your job is to locate these regions and place the digits 1-9 once each into each region, such that no digit repeats in any row or column. Blank cells outside of these regions have a value of 0.

The value of a cell with a solid grey arrow indicates how many distinct regions are seen in that direction, including the cell itself. A hollow arrow indicates how many blank cells exist in that direction. Values in a circle indicate how many of the (up to) 8 adjacent cells, plus the circled cell itself, are part of regions. Where multiple clues exist in a cell, they are each considered independently.

The grid is partially covered in fog. Placing a correct digit will clear the fog from the surrounding cells. Note that placing a zero in a blank cell will not be marked as correct, nor will it clear fog.

Additionally, some, or all, of the following standard clue types may exist under the fog:

- Thermo: values strictly increase in each cell from the blub to the tip of the thermometer

- Kropki: cells separated by a white dot have values that are consecutive, cells separated by a black dot have values in a 1:2 ratio

- Killer: cells in a cage sum to the number in the top left corner

@tonald Well done on finishing it, I never said anything about it being easy. I hope you enjoyed it despite the difficulty. And isn't it more exciting when the rules don't tell you exactly what to expect? (the real answer is that I wrote the rules before finalising how everything would disambiguate in the end, and those were the options I was considering. When I did finalise it, I decided to leave the rules as-is to keep you on your toes)

Finally I finished it, but the process was insane. I love foggy puzzles, but it is not a simple one. By the way, where are thermos and killers?

Very tough, but a lot of fun. One party hat, please!

lovely7998 the rules do not prevent this (the clues specifically refer to the value in the cell, and the value of a blank cell is defined)
