In every row, column and in every 4x2 box the digits from 1 to 8 have to appear atleast once. -
XV-Pairs:
Cells joined by an X or V must sum to 10(X) or 5(V). -
Slow thermometers:
Digits on a slow thermo increase from the bulb to the tip or stay the same but never decrease.

Thanks to this setter for easing us in gradually with 4x4 and 6x6 versions of the zigzag. May I check for a 9x9 version in 2024?
