Caged Murder Mystery (with riddle)

Extended Sudoku Rules Apply, place the digits 0-9 in each column, row, and box, but one digit will not fit due to being murdered.
Killer cages: digits within cages add up to the total given and do not repeat.
Your mystery will lead you to find the killer taking their last victim. Know this, the killer has always been feared by 6 because of the rumor of how it used 8 against 9 and now we truly know why… Place the killer into the cell for the final solution.
Autor’s note: to be clear, there will be 1 unresolved cell in the puzzle which must use the riddle’s answer for the final solution. This is a common riddle in English but likely will not translate well into other languages. If this is the case, use the larger digit in the final cell as the killer.
