Just Wing It (Extreme Variant - Killer, Arrow, Between, Quad, Kropki)

(Eingestellt am 11. Dezember 2023, 05:21 Uhr von strangelyinsane)

Hi guys, this is my first puzzle! I've been obsessed with solving Sudoku variants ever since I discovered them on Cracking the Cryptic a few months ago. To think I had been playing classic Sudoku only for years! I was inspired to try and set one of my own. I hope you like it, but if not, that's okay too, I had fun making it. Happy solving!

Rules:

1. Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9 exactly once in every row, column, and 3x3 box.

2. X-wing Cages - Blue shaded dominoes are X-wing cages. Each X-wing cage corresponds to exactly one other X-wing cage in which both digits are part of the X-wing (i.e if R2C2 = 7 and R2C3 = 4, then R6C2 = 4 and R6C3 = 7). In boxes 2, 5, and 8, it is up to the solver to determine which 2 cages are paired. The total of each individual X-wing cage must be a number that is divisible by 3.

3. Killer Cages - The sum of the digits in each pink caged 2x2 region must be a number that divisible by 4. (i.e - 4, 8, 12, 16, etc). Each cage's total must be determined by the solver and may be the same as or different from other pink shaded killer cages.

4. Clones - The two yellow caged dominoes are clones. They contain the same two digits in the same respective positions.

5. Quadruples - Small circles at the center of 4 cells indicate numbers which must appear in one of the four surrounding cells touching the quadruple clue. Not all digits are given.

6. Kropki Dots - Cells separated by a black dot have a ratio of 1:2. Not all black dots are given.

7. V Sums - Cells separated by a V have a sum of 5. Not all Vs are given.

8. Arrows - Cells along an arrow sum to the total in that arrow's circle. Between lines contain only digits that are in between, but never the same as, the two circled digits at each end of the line.

9. Little Killers - Clues outside of the grid with an arrow are the sum of the digits in cells along the indicated diagonal.

10. Sandwich Sums - Clues adjacent to the end of a row are the sum of the digits found sandwiched in between 1 and 9 in the corresponding row.

Lösungscode: Row 5, from left to right (R5C1 - R5C9)
