Normal Sudoku rules apply. KILLER CAGES- Numbers in cages sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage. KROPKI PAIRS- Numbers with a white dot between them are consecutive. Not all possible dots are given. After completing the puzzle, within the shaded areas, replace the following numbers with the following letters: 1-Y, 2-D, 3-C, 4-A, 5-I, 6-H, 7-N, 8-V, 9-E.

I knew what the encrypted message was without even starting the puzzle after looking at it for about 30 seconds. Was this part of the intended solution?

@alzika Not this time. You notice that the rules say "after completing the puzzle......". This means the word anagram was not needed for the solve. Thanks for playing. Peace to you. -Will Power
