Schwupel invented Equality Cages for his puzzle Low Tide. I took it a step further and have created a whole series with them. This time we teamed up to create a puzzle together. This is probably closer to 3,5 stars difficulty, but if you get stuck, there'll be some hints at the bottom of this page.



Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 9 in each empty cell. Digits must not repeat within the same row, column, or box.

Equality cages: Cages must have an equal number of low (1,2,3,4) and high (6,7,8,9) digits AND an equal number of even (2,4,6,8) and odd (1,3,7,9) digits. Equality cages can never contain 5. Digits may not repeat in a cage.

Kropki dots: A black dot between cells indicates cell values with a 2:1 ratio. A white dot between cells indicates cells with consecutive values. Not all dots are shown.

X: Adjacent cells connected with an X must sum to 10. Not all X's are shown.

Entropy: The orange lines are entropic lines. Each set of three consecutive digits on a line must be one each from (1,2,3), (4,5,6), and (7,8,9). Digits may repeat on a line.

Modularity: The green lines are modular lines. Each set of three consecutive digits on a line must be one each from (1,4,7), (2,5,8), and (3,6,9). Digits may repeat on a line.

Help:
In order to look at the hints below, highlight the text (which is written in white).

Hint 1: If you take a closer look at box 3 you can get a lot of information straight away.
Hint 2: It's probably helpful to color the modular line in box 6/9. One of the colors have all 3 digits inside box 6. Where would you place those digits in box 9?
Hint 3: The equality cage in box 9 is much more specific than it might first appear to be.
Hint 3 (more specific): There is only one pair of digits that you can use for the cage. If you have the wrong pair you'll end up with problems in box 6.
Hint 4: At this point you should be able to get some information about the entropic line and the equality cage in box 7.
Hint 5: A closer look at box 1 should reward you with a handful of digits.
Hint 6: Where does 4 go in box 4, and how does it affect the rest of the box?
Hint 6 (more specific): There is a 4 in the equality cage. Either the other low digit is odd, or it's even. Whichever it is, that should tell you something about the high digits.
Hint 7: Consider even and odd digits in column 2.
Hint 8: At this point you should be able to do some work on the intersecting lines in box 4/5.
Hint 9: It's time to give the remaining equality cages some attention. What do you know about the even digits?
Hint 9 (more specific): There has to be an 8 in the equality cage in box 5/8. What does that tell you about the last equality cage?
