A Zip From the Devil's Cup

After keeping my previous Zipper Lines puzzles relatively focused on pure "zipper logic", this one requires more aadvanced techniques to solve. Thanks to the CtC-discord for testing and to Jaze for inventing the Zipper ruleset.
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Digits an equal distance from the center of a lavender 'Zipper Line' must sum to the digit in the middle of that line.

slapping my forehead right now. a pretty tough solve, wish I'd read the description for the hint!
edit: actually after watching ctc's solve I see I missed some other, more helpful spots

I placed all the 9s and a handful of 8s and then got totally lost. A bit of math later and things started to flow again, this was my first zipper so that probably was at fault. Very enjoyable.

This was my first zipper puzzle and it was really enjoyable! The solve path was intuitive and there were a few "aha" moments that made me smile. Excellent puzzle!
