Today marks a week since my beautiful daughter, Orla, made her unexpectedly early entrance into the world. She and her amazing mum, Alannah, are still in hospital after a particularly challenging time, but have been speeding along the road to recovery with incredible bravery and strength.

Orla has brought with her into the world not only immense joy, but also a new sudoku constraint, which is based on her initials and utilises her favourite colour.

Little killer: digits along an indicated diagonal within the grid sum to the total shown.

Orla dominoes: there is an odd number on the left of a yellow dot, and an even number on the right (in other words, dominoes indicated by yellow dots spell Orla's initials, OE).

X-sums: clues outside the grid (without an associated arrow) show the sum of the first X digits in that row, where X is the first digit in that row.
