Rules
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- Consecutive Count: Clues outside the Sudoku grid indicate the amount of adjacent cell pairs containing consecutive digits, in their respective row or column (inside the grid only, resulting in a maximum of 8). Not all clues are given.
- Thermometers: Digits along a thermometer strictly increase starting from the bulb end. Some thermometers pass through consecutive count clues.

Had to do some mental acrobatics to convince myself certain things worked. Quite difficult for me. Good puzzle.

This confused me a lot, so here is the explanation for everyone:
The outside clues do not count for the pairs, and digits can belong to multiple pairs, ie if row 9 started (3)456, that would count as two pairs: (4,5),(5,6). (3,4) is not a pair since 3 is not in a sudoku cell.

sind das dann 3 Paare (1/2; 2/3; 3/4) oder 2 (1/2; 3/4)

Is the count for cells or for pairs? E.g. if there is a 23-pair would the count be 1 (pair) or 2 (cells)?
This woule be one pair. ~L
