@Katchoo Thank you for playing. The phrase "it took me a minute", when said in a cheeky way, means "it took longer than I expected". To be sure the listener understands the cheekiness, sometimes the speaker says "a HOT minute", which means "quite a long time". Danke für das Spiel. Der Ausdruck „it took me a minute“ bedeutet, wenn man ihn frech ausdrückt, „it took longer than I expected“. Um sicherzustellen, dass der Zuhörer die Frechheit versteht, sagt der Sprecher manchmal „a HOT minute“, was „quite a long time“ bedeutet.

I've been doing variant sudoku for a few weeks now and I have to say, this one I felt very confident about. Will, I'll admit, I used to dodge your puzzles as they do not typically contain the solution (as a newbie, I preferred it so I didn't go through an hour on the wrong path). I can say I was wrong. The exclusion of the solution forces my brain to carefully think the ruleset through. Much appreciated puzzle (and all your puzzles)!

@bcreturnee It's great to have another person join the party. My intent is never to try to be so clever that people cannot complete my puzzles. My intent has always been to brighten the day of as many people as possible. I see you have begun to look back into my archives. There are a lot of puzzles to choose from. Enjoy your search. This one flowed very smoothly once i realized that 5 =/= 6 and i had wrongly pencilmarked the cage at the very beginning of my solve ;).
