• Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
• Sandwich: Clues outside the grid give the sum of the digits between the 1 and 9 in that row or column.
• Lockout Lines: Individual Lockout Lines are shown as a line with diamond endpoints. Digits in directly connected endpoints must differ by 4 or more. Digits along lines must fall outside the range defined by their diamonds. Line digits may repeat if allowed by other rules. A diamond may be shared by multiple Lockout Lines, but each segment is treated as a different line.
