FOUR DAYS!!!

this is too hard for me, I chewed myself through this madness always on the edge of chewing my own head off instead.
I had to bifurcate, couldn't find a way to resolve the 4 sets of pairs otherwise.
I know there must be a smart way to do this... I just couldn't see it :(
Ah well, the moment I had only one "either or" per killer cage I could at least use some math but boy ohhh boy,
four days ... I'm not ready for your puzzles I'm afraid (and god they look tempting...)

Response from Eric: Itsid, don't feel bad. This is an extremely difficult puzzle. It is 5 stars for a reason. If you get a chance give one of my 1 or 2 star puzzles a try.

Wow. I kept getting lost with those letters and colors. But very rewarding. Cool puzzle
---
Response from Eric: It's a tough puzzle. Way to stick it out kamkam. Congratulations on the solve!

Took a long time for me to solve but in the end did manage to do it with pure logic. It’s a tough one though … I recommend using the letters to place as well as colours

It was very hard for me. But once one cycle of letters got resolved in mi-solve, it was pretty smooth. Thanks for sharing this colour-letter hybrid puzzle.
---
Response from Eric: Way to stick with it madhupt! It is a tough puzzle. Using a combination of letters and colors is definitely the way to go. Well done!

Ha! What a coloring adventure. Madness indeed. I appreciated the intricate killer logic around the cage-palindrome interactions. Resolving the colors here was hardly automatic. I enjoyed the challenge here, truly. Thank you!!
---
Response from Eric: You are welcome. Glad you liked it and congratulations on solving the puzzle!!

Quick question: is the lack of a total in the cage in r5c6 intentional?
---
Response from Eric: Yes, the total was left off on purpose. The cage total is not necessary to solve the puzzle. I have the cage there to keep the symmetry of the puzzle. I probably should have added that to the description and will do so now.
