- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Yin Yang: Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected and no 2x2 area is fully shaded or unshaded.
- Sight Lines: Digits in circles show the number of cells of the same color (shaded or unshaded) seen orthogonally from that position, including itself. The 'other' color blocks vision.
- Modified Renban: Along pink lines, digits of the same color (shaded or unshaded) each form a consecutive, non-repeating sequence in any order (sequences of length 1 are allowed). Each line contains at least one repeated digit

Very neat and carefully set puzzle with such a consistent flow throughout!
It took me a while to grasp the whole opening sequence but once doing so, it was a rather well thought out part :)

Can someone explain this?

Basically each line has 2 separate renbans, one existing on shaded cells, and another on unshaded cells. And at least one digit is repeated. Here are some examples for digits on a line (located in any order):
shaded 123 and unshaded 1,
shaded 456 and unshaded 2345
