Hashidoku

My second attempt at Hashiwokakero rules combined with sudoku. The first attempt was not fruitful, however now I succeeded with the combination of killer sudoku rules. I hope you enjoy.

Rules:

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Circles are islands. Connect bridges between the islands so that all bridges are interconnected, enabling passage from any island to another. The number in each island tells how many bridges are connected to it. The number has to be determined by the solver. There are no more than two bridges connecting the same two islands. Bridges can only be vertical or horizontal and are not allowed to cross islands or other bridges. Islands directly next to eachother are not considered 'connected'. A bridge may be build between them.

Between the islands and bridges there is water. The sum of the numbers in a water segment must equal the number in the top left corner of a cell within that water segment (not necessarily the top left cell of the water segment). Numbers cannot repeat within a water segment. All water segments must contain a cell with a number in the top left corner.

There is one lighthouse, displayed by a white dot. Cells separated by the lighthouse are consecutive digits.

Really nice - and doable for someone familiar with bridges” puzzles which I do enjoy.

Anyone got any tips on how to notate the single versus double bridges. I used a combination of pen and colouring, but I ended drawing the top right corner out. As the cells were all very close. I still enjoyed it but would love to hear anyone’s tips to make future puzzles clearer in the notations.

I used red line to mark double and blue to mark single. Yellow to mark unknown.

Glad you enjoyed :)
