• Sudoku: Each row, column, and region indicated by thick borders in the grid must contain the digits 1 to 9 once each.
• Ambiguous kropki/XV pairs: The grid is cluttered with 4 different shapes. Each shape (triangle, diamond, square, or circle) represents one of the following relationships between the two cells it connects:
  1. ('Black dot') One of the digits in those cells is exactly double the other.
  2. ('White dot') The two digits in those cells must be consecutive.
  3. ('X') The digits in those cells must add up to 10.
  4. ('V') The digits in those cells must add up to 5.
  Every shape represents a different property. Not all possible shapes are necessarily given. If multiple relationships apply (for example, 2 and 3 could be connected by a white dot as well as a V), any or none can be given.
