Are the rules meant the be a puzzle as well? "Additionally, the diagonal is treated as a mirror mirroring digits on either side of it (I.E. a digit in r1c4 reflects exactly with the digit in r4c1)=> this insinuates the diagonal itself isn't considered reflecting itself...
I would also say: Draw a one-cell wide snake of orthogonally connected cells through all 9 boxes of the grid. The snake can't touch itself. Palindrome: Digits on a gray line must read the same forwards and backwards. The lines may cross and paths must be deduced. Killer Cages: Digits in a killer cage must sum to the value indicated in the top left corner. Cages and cage sums reflect across the diagonal.
Also because the "all reflected digits are given", the snake itself is just a side-quest that doesn't give any extra information for the solve. Or am I wrong?
Also: how can this give a unique solution if ALL hints are symmetrically drawn or symmetrically interpreted? Are there two symmetrical solutions? (if so a good thing would be to use the deduced snake as the decider between solutions?

I am having a very hard time parsing the rules here. For example, what does "all mirrored digits are given" mean?

If you take away the mirror constraint, it seems that the puzzle is clearly not uniquely solvable. And I can draw a snake which touches almost every cell that might be mirrored (on one side of the mirror or the other) where the snake and the mirrored snake do not touch except on the mirror diagonal. With the untouched digits mirrored, it still is not uniquely solveable. I'm also not sure what the cage does in boxes 6/9 (it doesn't restrict anything there, and since there's no cage number it doesn't seem that it would restrict anything across the mirror either. Perhaps they need to have the same sum? If so I might put an "X" in the cage or describe this in the rules).
