In each of the four 6x6 grids: each row, column and box contains one of every digit from 1-7 except for the number depicted by the red line within that grid (1,2,3,4 respectively - e.g. the top right grid has a red "2" so it must be filled with the digits 1,3,4,5,6,7).

A digit may not appear in the same position in two different grids. For example, the 7 in r4c1 of grid 1 means that a 7 cannot appear in r4c1 of any other grid.

The red lines (drawn numbers) are each one of the following line types, to be determined by the solver, and there cannot be more than one of any line type:

- Dutch Whispers: adjacent digits on the line have a difference of at least 4;
- Equal sums: digits on the line have an equal sum N within each box it passes through;
- Palindrome: a line with exactly two ends whose digits read the same forwards and backwards;
- Thermometer: digits on the line must increase from the bulb (the bulb may be anywhere on the line and the thermometer may branch).
