A lovely puzzle. Thanks. I think it's pretty easy if you understand the subtleties of dutch whispers. I didn't, so I'm giving it 2 stars for difficulty.

I don't think I can agree with 1 star for difficulty, I had to restart around 5 times because I messed up somewhere.
But that's a solver problem, not a setter problem. :D Maybe solving tons of German Whispers puzzles leads to confusion when having to use Dutch Whispers logic..

Either way, thanks for setting this, it was a really enjoyable (and aesthetically pleasing) puzzle after all, it just took me a few attempts to fully appreciate that. :)

Often, when I first see one of Will Power's puzzles, I'll initially judge that it's too hard for me. It's not immediately apparent how I need to start the solve. But I've learned that if I'm patient and take my time to look at it and think about it, I can figure it out. Thank you Will Power for consistently making challenging but fair puzzles for those of us with more pedestrian solving skills.

How do you keep doing this at this pace?!

@PinkNickels Sudoku is a passion of mine. Although I have been trying to keep the cadence down to once every three days, this group of three needed to be released close together, in the same day, so the solvers make the association between them (they are the same tree). To answer how I can keep the pace, I retired from my profession in December 2022. Although I began the cadence before then, my retirement definitely helps by relieving time constraints from work. RETIREMENT: I highly recommend it, if you can afford to do it. 8-) Peace to you. -Will Power
