This puzzle was inspired by the puzzle "Deuces Wild" by Roger Wolff (which was itself inspired by the puzzle of the same name by Andrewsarchus). Bonus points for figuring out the meaning of the title!
Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Digits in a cage sum to the total. Digits cannot repeat in a cage.
Mark one cell in each row, column, and box such that the digits 1-9 appear once each in the marked cells. Digits in the marked cells count for a different value from 1-9 for the purposes of cages, with each value from 1-9 being taken on once.
In addition, the digit replacements must form a complete 9-cycle. For example, it is not allowed for the marked 1 to take the value 2 and the marked 2 to take the value 1, since that would create a 2-cycle of (1 2).
Cages may contain multiple marked cells if allowed by other rules, and replaced values may duplicate digits in cages. For example, a two-cell 2-cage may be 1 and marked cell with a value of 1.

Very hard puzzle. The ending was tougher for me, because I had trouble keeping travk of the possibilities for the cycle at some point. Finished it this morning with a clearer mind. Very interesting and well constructed. Thanks.

Great puzzle! Very difficult at first but tiny but intricate deductions lead you down a rather smooth solve path.
