Stostone Meidjuluk


Rules:
  • Meidjuluk: Divide the grid into 8 regions, one each of size 1 to 8. A region may not contain repeated numbers, and it may only contain factors of its size.
  • Stostone: Shade at least one cell in each region such that all shaded cells in a region form an orthogonally connected group. If two shaded cells are orthogonally connected, they must be in the same region. If all of the shaded groups were to fall straight down without changing shape, they must completely fill the bottom half of the grid.
  • In addition, each region must contain a number equal to the amount of shaded cells in that region.

Meidjuluk is a new and interesting pencil puzzle type created by glum_hippo. Of course, when I set one, I had to make it a stostone variant. Hope you enjoy :)
