Parity Beam!

(Eingestellt am 18. Juni 2023, 07:25 Uhr von TangerinePlank)

My second puzzle! First time trying a custom ruleset.

I made this puzzle long ago, but didn't get enough people to test it (only one). I now played it again after 6 months and got a satisfying path.

I hope you enjoy it too.

[Rules]

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Cells separated by a black dot represent a 1:2 ratio.

Cells separated by a white dot represent consecutive digits.

Gray cells are greater than their orthogonally adjacent neighbours.

Digits along each magenta line represent a consecutive set of digits (in any order).

There's a beam coming from one of the arrows outside the grid and escaping on the other.

5s reflect the beam's direction depending on the side they hit. (See image above.)

The cells covered by the beam are of a different parity than their orthogonally adjacent neighbours (excluding 5s). (aka. The fact the beam is indeed next to a 5 doesn't tell you it's even.) (See image above, red is of a different parity than yellow.)

The beam is allowed to go through itself.

No negative constraint (Not all possible clues are necessarily given).

Have fun!
