This sudoku is a little different then my earlier ones, since this is my first time setting with the 'Disjoint' and the 'Non-consecutive' constraints. I think the result is a nice little puzzle, which shouldn't be too hard. I hope you enjoy it! :-)

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Disjoint boxes: Cells in the same relative position in their boxes cannot contain the same digit.

Non-consecutive: Orthogonally adjacent cells cannot contain consecutive digits.

The puzzle:

Solution code: row 9 (left to right)

Cute puzzle, good execution of the ruleset. The setting performed very well in terms of communicating where the solve path lay.

Fun combination of rules

I really enjoyed this puzzle but I have to disagree with the original 1 star rating. I play generally 1 to 3 star puzzles and this felt like closer to 2 stars at a minimum. Maybe it's just a harder ruleset to visualize for me, but that was my experience. Again a wonderful puzzle though.

Nice puzzle. If this is one star, then what are two, let alone five?

Fun puzzle. Found harder than a 1 star; the scanning was challenging. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the puzzle! This was really enjoyable.

I found it pretty difficult to get things going. Eventually, it helped me to visualize the disjointed boxes by adding colors to the relative positions. Then I used more pencil marks that I'm used to in order to see how the non-consecutive rule might force some numbers.
