Fivesweeper (0-8 Sudoku)

(Eingestellt am 9. April 2023, 16:00 Uhr von Jreg)

Normal 0-8 Sudoku rules apply: place the digits 0-8 once each in every row, column and box.

A digit in a red circle indicates how many times the digit 5 appears in the surrounding eight cells.

A digit in a blue square is a sum of all digits in red circles that it can see horizontally, vertically and diagonally.

All possible circles and squares are given and mutually exclusive (a circle can never simultaneously function as a square, and vice versa).

This is also a continuation of my previously published puzzle, Ninesweeper. It's got the same rules but no negative constraint which makes it a lot easier. HERE is a link to that puzzle's LMG page.

Lösungscode: Digits in column 5 (from top to bottom) followed by digits in row 5 (from left to right) - a total of 18 digits.

Bit of a mind bender but very rewarding.

I feel like changing the digits to 0-8 also increased the difficulty a lot. I always hate negative constraint puzzles though
