22/7 Killer Clone

As a nod to pi day I have created a puzzle based on the number pi. This is easier than my previous puzzles on this site, but I think is still a fun solve.



Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • In cages, digits sum to the small clue in the top left corner of the cage.
  • Cells separated by a black dot must be in a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are given.
  • Each coloured shape is a clone. Digits must appear in identical positions in each copy of a clone.

Lösungscode: Row 5 followed by the diagonal from top-left to bottom-right. (18 digits)

Haha. I usually grumble when I have to enter 2 whole rows as a solution code, but in this case I'll make an exception.

The rules say "In cages, digits sum to the small clue in the top left corner of the cage." but they don't say the numbers have to be unique. I've played some where the numbers don't have to be unique. However the title does say "Killer". So is it safe to assume that they must be unique in a cage, or is that not a safe assumption?

Hi dakamojo. That is a fair point. It is solvable without knowing either way but I can tell you that the digits are unique within each cage.

Don't make the same mistake as I did. I was at a party last Tuesday. Saw Pi in the corner. He looked lonely so I went over and struck up a conversation. BAD idea. That guy just goes on FOREVER. Thanks for the puzzle BenTen.
