- Classic: Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- Windoku: Windoku regions denoted by cages must each contain all of the digits from 1 - 9, without repeats.
- German Whispers: Adjacent digits along German Whispers lines must differ by at least five.
- Arrow: Digits along an arrow sum to the number in the bulb.
- Kropki:
- On white dots, digits are consecutive.
- On black dots, one digit is twice the other.
- Not all possible dots are given
