2023 Chaotic X-Sums

Dies ist das letzte Rätsel meiner "23"-Serie und ich denke, es ist ein würdiger Abschluss. Viel Spass beim Lösen :-)
Es gelten normale Sudoku Regeln.
Chaos Construction
Unterteile das Gitter in Regionen, die jeweils aus acht orthogonal verbundenen Zellen bestehen. Jede Reihe, Spalte und Region enthält die Ziffern 1-8 genau einmal.
X-Sums
Ein Hinweis ausserhalb des Gitters bildet die Summe der ersten X Zellen in der jeweiligen Reihe/Spalte, wobei X die Ziffer in der Zelle direkt neben dem Hinweis ist.
Zusätzlich gilt in jeder Reihe/Spalte mit einem Hinweis, dass sich die ersten X Zellen in derselben Region befinden, und die X+1te Zelle ist in einer anderen Region.
Ein ?-Hinweis hat ebenfalls diese Eigenschaft des Regionenbaus, jedoch ist die Summe unbekannt.

Eine Zelle mit einem grauen Quadrat enthält ein gerade Ziffer.

Nice one, but the ending took me way too long. The last 3 regions were really hard to solve. At least for me ;)

That was a pure joy; just the right difficulty for my level. It is very even throughout which I think is really nice.

I don't know what I did wrong, but right at the end of the puzzle, I was left with a deadly pattern! Luckily, it was only for the last 6 cells, but I'd love to know the solution path, as I've been over my solution 5 times but still can't figure out what I did wrong! That said, an amazing puzzle, had a great time solving it!
