Foggy Paths

Rules:

1. Fog: Some cells are covered with fog. When a correct digit is placed into the grid, the fog will clear, revealing additional cells of the puzzle.

2. Row / Column: Each row and column will contain digits 1-9 exactly once. Additionally, one cell in each row and column is empty (marked in black).

3. Lines: Adjacent digits on the red oscillator line(s) alternate between high (6789) and low (1234). Adjacent digits on the blue parity line(s) alternate between odd and even. Neither type of line enters an empty cell.

4. Positive diagonals: Each positive diagonal (marked with arrows) contain digit 5 at most once.

5. Dots: Digits separated by a green dot have the same mod3 value (i.e., 1,4,7, or 2,5,8, or 3,6,9). Of the digits separated by a black dot, one is two times the other. Not all dots are given.

I'm inclined to disagree with both commenters before me, unfortunately. I found this very hard to scan. I'm not sure why it needed to be a fog puzzle, and the rule involving the diagonals ends up being pretty underwhelming. I definitely didn't think the logical steps I took before or after the break-in were 2* difficulty, though I may have missed something.

Notes for future solvers:
1. The 5 star difficulty rating is only because of required meta-knowledge. I think this is 2*, but rated it 1* just to try to bring the difficulty rating down
2. Although it isn't explicitly clarified in the rules, dots can't contain blank cells
3. Don't be like me and think the diagonal rules apply to all digits and not just 5s
