Normal sudoku rules apply. Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected. In any row or column, runs of shaded cells must be less than four cells long. All unshaded cells are either minimum or maximum cells (all the same), where they are either less than or greater than, respectively, their shaded orthogonally connected neighbors. On a thermometer, digits increase from bulb to tip. Digits connected by a white dot are consecutive; not all dots are given.
