Divide the grid into orthogonally connected regions such that no two regions of the same size share an edge, and enter a number into each cell equal to the size of its region. Shade some cells in the grid such that the final shading of the grid resembles a valid cave (all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected and all shaded cells are orthogonally connected by other shaded cells to an edge of the grid). Every region is either entirely shaded or entirely unshaded.
Outside clues are Japanese sum clues. "?" is a stand in for any digit 0-9, but for a double digit number, the first digit may not be 0. Each distinct letter represents some unique digit from 0 to 9.
Clues to the left of the grid are Japanese sum clues for either shaded or unshaded groups of cells, where each group needs at least one of the other (shaded or unshaded) to separate the groups. Clues to the top of the grid are Japanese sum clues for the OTHER of shaded or unshaded. (That is, if it turns out clues to the left indicate sums of unshaded blocks, clues to the top indicate sums of shaded blocks). For each row or column, either all or no outside clues are given.
The number in a cell with one or more arrows indicates the total number of cells with opposite shading to itself in the directions of the arrows combined.
Answer check is enabled with blue digits, or with correct edges placed.

This is one of the first fillominos I finished, so I found the logic particularly challenging. However, I loved every step in the solve path - it felt very refreshing and was overall just really beautiful. Thanks KNT :)

Very clever and brutally hard puzzle. The hardest for me was not even the break-in, but the resolution at the end with the arithmetic of row 9.

Wow! Nachdem ich erstmal vom Schlauch gestiegen bin ging es gut voran. Der Schluss hat es natürlich auch nochmal in sich.

Very hard. If I had read the comments before solving I wouldn't have had the courage to give it a go. Glad, I hadn't. What an adventure!

This puzzle has a tricky break in, so if you have trouble finding it, leave a hidden comment and I will give you a push in the right direction. I would not like you to be unable to experience this puzzle because of difficulties starting it.
