Short Consecutives Sudoku (aka Winter Sudoku)

Solve online in Penpa+ (thx Steven R!)
Verwende die üblichen Sudoku-Regeln.
Hinweise außerhalb des Gitters geben alle Ziffern an, die in der jeweiligen Richtung innerhalb den ersten 6 Kästchen neben einer benachbarten Ziffer stehen. Hinweise sind aufsteigend angegeben und nicht notwendigerweise in der Reihenfolge, in der sie im Gitter erscheinen.
Lösungscode: Zeile 1, gefolgt von Zeile 8

If in a row or column only the sixth and seventh digit are consecutive, what happens?

Then there is only a clue for both digits on the other side, since from there they are in the third and fourth position.

Does a clued digit and its consecutive neighbor both have to be in the first six cells? Or just the clued digit? Or just the consecutive neighbor? Or either one?

Answer: Both. That is evident from the word 'ALL' in the instructions. The consecutive neighbour itself is also a digit that has a consecutive neighbour, either from one side, or from the opposite side.

Edit: I changed the word in to within and innerhalb; maybe that clarifies it even better.

I don't understand why this is called short sandwiches -- it doesn't seem to have anything to do with sandwiches. Is that copy/paste from your puzzle a few weeks ago?
