- Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row and column. Note that the grid is 10x10, and therefore every row and column will also contain one cell that is empty.
- Divide the grid into 10 non-overlapping, 9-cell orthogonally connected regions, each containing the digits 1-9.
- Every clued cell contains a digit that indicates the number of cells seen in the indicated directions combined (including itself).
- Region borders and empty cells obstruct vision.
Solve on Penpa+. Answer check will only check digits.
Solution code: Row 6, then column 6. Indicate empty cells with an X.

Very enjoyable! The near-perfect symmetry of the clue is impressive, yet the logic is very diverse in the entire grid.

Very nice variant with empty cells which added a new layer to the logic of CC. A rather easy start, and a tricky point around midsolve for me. Enjoyed it all the way !
