Normal sudoku rules apply. The grey shape indicates an extra region with the numbers 1-9. Along the thermometer digits increase from the bulb. Digits in cages sum to a total in the top left corner of the cage. Digits cannot repeat within a cage. Digits that are a knight's move away from each other must be different. Numbers outside the grid indicate the sum of all cells between 1 and 9 in that row or column, excluding 1 and 9 from the sum.
