Zero Ate Five
(Published on 13. July 2022, 04:00 by XeonRisq)
Next in this brief series, we explore zero replacement with German whispers. It proves for some interesting logic.. Enjoy!
- Normalish sudoku rules apply.
- All 5s in the grid have been replaced by 0s, so only the digits {012346789} are valid.
- Numbers cannot repeat in a cage and must sum to the given total in the top left corner.
- Adjacent numbers on a German whisper line must have a difference of 5 or greater.

Good lord, I found the mid-to-late solve to be brutal

Yeah, sorry about that.. This one may have been the hardest puzzle of my Zero Replacement exploration. Thanks for the feedback, and hope you at least enjoyed the twist that 0 provided for GW lines.

LOL, thanks Bankey, glad you are enjoying this exploration of Zero and it's nasty appetite. But be on the look out, Zero is still hungry enough for desert! (should be here by the weekend)

thank you, that was fun!
and the german whispers logic without 5s made for an interesting variant.

You're welcome! Thanks for the solve/feedback, and I agree, it's becomes quite interesting for whisper logic when 5 is removed.
