## Ulte Nus Plura (Suguru Chaos Deconstruction)

(Eingestellt am 2. Mai 2022, 15:57 Uhr von crispy16)

Yet another Suguru Chaos Deconstruction. The rules for this one are a homage to Ne Plus Ultra by Andrewsarchus, one of the most brilliant puzzles I have ever seen. I mean who doesn't love lots of negative constraints.

Rules:

Deconstructed Suguru: Fill some cells in the grid with the digits 1–9 such that no digit repeats in a row or column. All digits must belong to a region (a collection of orthogonally connected cells), and a region of size n contains the digits 1 through n once each. Regions may not touch each other orthogonally, although they may touch each other diagonally.

Circles contain a digit which counts the number of cells (including itself) in the surrounding 3x3 neighborhood that belong to the same region. All possible circles are given.

Squares contain a digit which counts the number of regions (including its own region) which have cells in the surrounding 3x3 neighborhood. All possible squares have been given.

Arrows on the border between cells point to a cell containing a 1 in the corresponding row or column. The digit in the cell at the tail end of the arrow indicates the distance from that cell to the cell containing the 1, and must be in a different region from the cell containing the 1. All possible arrows have been given.

Solve Online:

There are two pairs of links below, one with numbers outside the grid labelling the row and column numbers (as seen in the screenshot) and one without those numbers. This are purely a cosmetic convenience to aid in solving/discussion of the puzzle.

With row and column numbers:

Without row and column numbers

Puzzle:

Lösungscode: Ignoring blank cells, write the digits in Row 12 and Column 2 (left to right, or top to bottom, no spaces)

Very nice. Cannot figure out the last one until the negative constrain is considered.

Love these Suguru Deconstruction hybrids ! Not too hard but requires careful scanning. Thanks

Took me almost 2 hours, but didn't get stuck at any point. Quite fun.
