The King's Cages

Normal sudoku rules apply.
Digits within cages sum to cage totals to be determined by the solver.
Cages within the same 3x3 box have the same total.
Cages in different 3x3 boxes have different totals.
Cells a chess king's move apart must not contain the same digit.

That was a great puzzle. I'm not good at scanning for King's moves, so it took me awhile. But after the break-in it just flowed like buttah.

I must be reading the rules wrong (or am missing something obvious!), because I can't make boxes 7,8,9 work. Is it correct that for each 3x3 box there is a cage total that applies to all cages within that box, and that the cage total for each the 3x3 boxes *must* be unique? e.g R8C3 and R7C4 must be different, because they are single-digit cages in different 3x3 boxes.
