XVXV - Episode 3: Killing Eve

- Normal sudoku: Fill every row, column and marked 3×3 box with the digits 1 to 9 once each.
- Classic Kropki: Cells connected by a black dot have a ratio of 1:2.
- XVXV: Cells connected by a V sum to either 5 or 15; cells connected by a X sum to either 10 or 15.
- No negative constraint: Not all possible X, V and dots are necessarily given.
- Download this puzzle as: scalable image (SVG) | bitmap image (PNG) | printable document (PDF).
Note: Some SVG and PDF engines are unable to render the little gaps on cell borders around X and V clues, but mainstream web browsers should all handle them properly. - Play online on: Penpa+ | CtC App | f-puzzles.
This is the very first puzzle I’ve created! I’m immensely grateful to Cracking the Cryptic and Logic Masters Germany for introducing me into the world of variant sudoku; to all the people in this wonderful community who have encouraged me to dip my toes into puzzle creation; and most importantly, to @Raumplaner for taking me on as a newbie partner with an unknown and untested ruleset.

LOL, though I only ever use fractions and never floating point (which gives an unwarranted illusion of accuracy - cf. AP guidelines on reporting polling results and other statistics).

That was fun, I really liked the logic involving ambiguous XVs. Some deductions were tricky for me but it isn't too hard once I understood it, I was just being slow.

Love me some ambiguity! Awesome first puzzle and collaboration. Took me quite a while (probably too long) to uncover all the implications of this rule set... but I have emerged from the other side much stronger!

This is a very clever ruleset, and this puzzle taught me several ideas about how these constraints work in a really fun way. Congrats on your first puzzle!
