Killer Nadir

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Digits in cages sum to the clue in the upper-left corner of the cage, and digits cannot repeat within cages. One cell in the grid is the nadir. Cells must increase in value as they move away from the nadir in every straight-line direction (i.e. vertically, horizontally and diagonally) until they reach the edge of the grid.
