Rules
Normal Sudoku Rules apply. All lines are both German Whispers and Region Sum Lines.
For this puzzle, all lines that cross box boundaries must satisfy both properties. (If a line is contained within a region it only has to comply with German Whisper Rules)
Digits on Region Sum Lines have an equal sum within each 3x3 box they pass through.
Digits on German Whisper lines must have a difference of at least 5 from adjacent digits on the line.

As a beginner it took me a long time to find the right start. I slowly whittled down some options and numbers and then finally it got going. Felt very rewarding not to give up on this.
