Delta Tree

(Eingestellt am 20. Januar 2022, 14:05 Uhr von lasthelix)

Rules:

Regular Sudoku: There can't be a repeating digit in any row or column.

Irregular Grid: Grid is divided into 9 regions, each region contains 9 cells and can't have repeating digits. There is only 3 3x3 square/box regions in grid, 2 of which is given by default.

Killer: Numbers within a cage must sum to the number in upper left corner. Numbers can't repeat within the killer cage.

Little Killer: Number, which is pointing at the diagonal is equal to the sum of numbers lying on that diagonal and numbers can't repeat within those diagonals(in general, diagonally connected numbers can be the same).

Thermo: Numbers on the thermometer are decreasing from the bulb's end and thermometer can't have repeating digits in it(there are 4 thermometers starting in the center and going in different directions, all thermometers are tree-like/2-way, which means each of them has 2 endpoints).

Unusual/Parity "Little Killer": Number, which is pointing at the row or at the column is equal to sum of orthogonally connected digits(in this row or column, starting from the border) with the same parity(for example, 1 7 2 9 -> 1+7 = 8 (2 doesn't count because 7 is odd and 2 is even, 9 doesn't count because there was a parity change from odd to even in 7 2 pair)).

Arrow Sudoku: Number in the circle is equal to sum of numbers lying on the arrow.

Other: "Less than" sign determines lesser number of two.

Everything can be solved without guessing. Have fun!

(this is my first sudoku puzzle and probably it isn't perfect; sorry if there is some problems; puzzle name is referring to the thermo structure).

Lösungscode: Solution code is contents of third(non-given by default) 3x3 square/box region(first row in this box, second row in this box, third row in this box; 9 digits in total).

auch ich bin zunächst von den "normalen" Thermo-Regeln ausgegangen, da sollte in den Regeln auch Unusual Thermo stehen,

3 5 pair in R4C5 and R4C6 looks off because of the thermo (according to the rules, numbers are decreasing from the bulb's end). Both 3 and 5 are less than 6, so this assumption is incorrect.

Maybe it's my error with incorrectly stating thermo rules(sorry if so), but I stated that thermos start in the middle of the grid.

Is there something in your solution that prevents 4 from being in R6C4 R6C5 R6C6 (box 5)? If there isn't, then think about this possibility, I suppose.

Added a rule for killer cage.

I guess that it's solvable without this restriction, but nope, they can't.
When i originally wrote the rules, i thought that it must be unnecessary, sorry if I missed something, I can add this to the rules if it's really necessary to solve the puzzle.

UPD: actually the whole puzzle is solvable without any usage of killer cage, don't know why I even gave it in first place. but yeah, I got it, one digit is very_easily_being_get at almost the very start if digits are irrepeatitve in killer cage, so I guess I'll add that to rules(otherwise killer cage isn't doing anything; hadn't realized it until now). And I'm sorry about all the problems, didn't thought that there will be so many.

Thanks for suggestion. Link: https://tinyurl.com/2p9cceex (initial link was way too big). Didn't knew about this, sorry, and thanks one more time, it's pretty useful tool for unusual sudokus.

@lerroyy, sorry, but I don't know sites which allow you to make partial areas(by that i mean borders like "6" cell in column 9) or multiple thermometers starting in exact same cell, I used Photoshop to make it look as intended. I suppose that the only way to set/solve sudokus with irregular thermos/arrows/killers/etc. is by using image editors. sorry if this is uncomfortable.
