- Standard sudoku rules apply: each row, column and box contain the digits 1-9.
- The gray line is both a palindrome AND a German whispers line. Adjacent digits along the line differ by at least 5, and digits along the line read the same in either direction.
- Digits in a circle are the sum of the digits along the attached arrow.
