I thought that the windchimes had no sound but it seems that there's a magnificent galloping sound of a horse that I needed a sharp ear to seek and hear.
An amazing disambiguation to reach home. Thanks for the puzzle!

Changed the wording of the between-line rule to be more standard, to avoid confusion. The numbers on the line just have to be between, and not equal to, the numbers in the circles. No other conditions beyond that.

First time I've solved a 3 star difficulty. Absolutely loved this puzzle, despite getting stuck numerous times. Took some really interesting pairs to break through at the end. Great stuff!

The puzzle started off really easy and then I got stuck for half an hour until I made a deduction in with knight's move geometry... but oh so clever.

That makes more sense and has helped me progress. Thank you!

Strictly is mainly used to let you know that if the end circles contain 2/8 all digits on the line are either 3/4/5/6/7, but not necessary all of them.

There have been puzzles where the circles could be 2/8 and the digits on the line could be 2/3/4/5/6/7/8, therefore the word 'strictly' had been added, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm struggling with the use of the word strictly in the between line rule. Does that mean that if one end circle is a 2, and there are 3 digits on the line, that the other end circle must be a 6 in order to keep the 3 numbers strictly between 2 and 6 (3, 4, 5)? Or, could the other end circle be a 7, and the other digits would be selectable from the numbers 3-6? I've looked at other puzzles using these rules and have not seen "strictly" before. It's causing some issues during my solve, so clarification is appreciated. Thank you!
