This break-in for this puzzle requires a deduction I have not seen any other puzzle use before.
It is very difficult to spot, so please read the hints before spending too much time on it.
HintsHint 1: Where do the ones and twos go in the grid?
Hint 2: https://f-puzzles.com/?id=yj8jj6y2: There are ten 1s and 2s in the blue cells, exactly one 1 or 2 in each 11 cage, and no 1s or 2s in the green cells.
RulesNormal sudoku rules apply.
In cages, digits cannot repeat and must sum to the small clue given in the top left corner.
White dots connect cells with a difference of 1. Not all dots are shown.

Oh my goodness, what a brutal and brilliant puzzle! I was so unsure at several points that I couldn't even decide the best method to make progress since I was already melted, this really changed my mind about combining the cages. Thank you for this incredible puzzle :)
