Thermal Scope (thermometer + even sudoku) (by Aspartagcus and Qodec)

Here's a collab puzzle by me and Qodec, from a while back.
Thermometers by Aspartagcus.
Even squares by Qodec.
RULES:
- Standard sudoku rules apply.
- Digits on thermometers have to increase moving away from the bulb.
- Digits in the gray squares are even.

If you've watched my setter video for Wheel of Arrows, you might remember seeing an earlier version of this puzzle (f-puzzles), which I wasn't completely satisfied with (but which actually looked like a scope):
After watching that video, Qodec took my break-in idea and made a very nice finish to it. :)
