Off by 1 (8 isn't 8)

A challenge to make a puzzle where 8 is not really 8. Enjoy!
Rules: Normal sudoku rules apply. In cages, digits must sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage. Numbers outside the grid give the sum of the digits along the indicated diagonals. Digits may repeat on these diagonals if allowed by other rules.
Variant: Each clue is off by 1. To put another way, each clue ends in 7 or 9, not 8.
