Broken Thermo Sudoku

Oh bobbins! I set a thermo sudoku, but I dropped it! Each of the thermometers broke!

Normal Sudoku rules apply - in each row, column, and box, enter the digits 1-9 so that there are no repeats in each part.

Each thermometer piece with a bulb acts as a standard sudoku thermometer, with the digits increasing from the bulb end.

Each bulb piece has a corresponding thermometer stem, which continues its sequence of digits. The thermometer pieces must be matched together, with each bulb having its own stem that continues its number sequence. (No physical movement of the parts is intended, you're simply matching them by sequence.)

In addition, a few of the thermometer tips remain, which represent a simple greater than / less than relationship between two cells, as indicated with the > symbol - with the open end favoring the larger number. (9>7, 3>1, etc)

Lösungscode: Enter in the digits in column 2, followed by row 5, with no space inbetween.

Great puzzle, lots of fun solving, thanks! I had to use uniqueness that the length two stems couldn't both be 89. Is there a nice way around this?

_-- I don't know if this is the best way to respond, but yes there is. There is logic in column 9 that should have you pencil marking an 89 pair in one of the cells that those 89 stems are pointing towards. It couldn't possibly be the one pointing to the 89 pencil mark.
