The puzzle is a combination of Thermometer, XV and Pentominoes.

Rules:

• Standard Sudoku rules apply.
• Digits increase along a thermometer from the bulb end.
• A V indicates the two connected cells sum to 5.
• An X indicates the two connected cells sum to 10.
• There are a total of 9 pentominoes to be found in the grid which are each fully contained in the 3x3 boxes (1 per box).
• Every cell in a pentomino must contain an odd digit.
• Only two types of pentomino are used in this puzzle.
• All of the pentominoes in the grid are 180 degree rotationally symmetrical (if the grid is rotated 180 degrees the pentominoes would appear to look the same).
