Die Summe der Ziffern in den Käfigen ist in der Ecke des Käfigs vermerkt. Innerhalb eines Käfigs darf sich keine Ziffer wiederholen.

I guess my brain was just tired after my road trip. Every piece was right there to see; I just wasn't seeing them without a LOT of looking and cross-examining.

Two stars of difficulty and yet ... my brain is just NOT finding the (or ANY) path to a first digit. What am I missing? [Kinda hard to hint at anything specific without spoiling I think .. Have you understood the title yet?]

Nice puzzle. I liked the interactions between the 3-digit cages and also how the combinations in the 4-digit cages interacts with, and helps the middle box, thanks. [Thanks a lot :)]
