Every row, column and irregular region must contain the digits from 1 to 9. If there is an arrow in a cell, the digit in that cell is the total number of cells belonging to the region that are in the direction of the arrow. This includes the cells in the line of the cell with the arrow. For instance, orange 3 in the example has 3 cells above it in its region (3,8,9) and 3 cells to its right (3,6,5). All the possible arrows are given. Gray dots separate digits where one is three times the other. All the possible gray dots are given. Enjoy! |

To be honest, among my friends who play Sudoku together, I can be regarded as relatively low in skill level.
However, after completing this puzzle, I feel that it is really not worthy of 5-star difficulty. Because there are so many clues given by this puzzle, I have filled in all the numbers without even deducing all the regions, and the whole process only took half an hour (the specific time is 29:49).
*As a reference, most of the 5-star puzzles I have done take about 1-1.5 hours, and some particularly difficult puzzles can even last for 2 hours. *
So as far as my personal feeling is concerned, maybe its true difficulty should be around 4 stars?

Fantastic puzzle, but 5 stars.. really? This is a much more intimidating puzzle than a difficult one. Every deduction was very smooth and straightforward.
