Fountain Sudoku, Var.3

Classic sudoku rules apply.

Each of the cells with non-white colors sprays water in a cross shape (horizontally and vertically on all the 4 directions), centered at the cell and has an radius equal to the number in the cell (inclusive). Water sprayed from cells of the same non-white color (metaphorically, colors are like spraying timers) must not overlap with each other at any part.

Following is an example, with breakups of each of the colors illustrated:

After goofing up a few more times, I started from the beginning. Very nice puzzle, but not easy for me!

I thought I had solved the puzzle, but it said that my solution was incorrect. Either I am making some mistake, or this puzzle may not have a unique solution.

Hi MrBrain, in your solution the 8 in r5c1 and the 5 in r9c7 would emit an overlapping cross on r5c7. Hope that helps!
